Contract Duration : Initial 6 months with high likelihood of extension / FTE conversion

Overview

Our client is an leading Advanced Air Mobility company dedicated to developing the next generation of urban aircraft. They are expanding their design team and are looking for meticulous and highly skilled CAD Drafters / Detailers to transform standardized engineering concepts into detailed, production-ready drawings.

The Role

As a CAD Drafter / Detailer, you will play a critical role in the design process. You will be responsible for taking existing, standardized engineering drawings and specifications, and detailing them out into comprehensive, finalized drawing packages used for manufacturing, assembly, and quality inspection.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate standardized and conceptual designs into complete, detailed 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Apply and ensure adherence to geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
• Create and revise assembly drawings, part drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure drawings accurately reflect design intent and are manufacturable.
• Maintain document control and organization within the established CAD environment.
