Job description

Direct Sales - Territory Training & Sales Manager (Washington DC)

ClearCaptions, LLC is seeking a customer‑centric, socially focused individual for the Direct Sales – Territory Training & Sales Manager role. The incumbent will conduct installations primarily at senior customer homes, train them on ClearCaptions equipment, and generate referrals within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Install ClearCaptions equipment and connect it to customers’ existing services (training provided).
  • Educate customers on phone features and benefits.
  • Establish relationships with retirement communities and senior groups in the local market.
  • Plan, attend, and educate participants at senior events and other community events.
  • Build relationships with hearing professionals and educate them on ClearCaptions services.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Generate lead‑generation activities and referrals.
  • Adapt to new responsibilities and opportunities as necessary.
  • Maintain positive relationships with assigned customers and nurture territory sales.
  • Participate in local senior and hard‑of‑hearing organizations, events, and trade shows.
  • Record customer and territory data in Salesforce and other tools.
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Outside sales experience (B2B and / or B2C).
  • Experience selling to seniors preferred.
  • Experience in the hearing health field beneficial.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel extensively by car and occasional by air.
  • Home office with high‑speed Internet.
  • Proficient computer skills and basic internet use.
  • Comfortable working with seniors and disabled persons.
  • Availability for flexible hours including weekends.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Self‑starter with strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in MS Office and modern virtual communication tools (e.g., MS Teams).
  • Physical Demands

  • Sitting, standing, and walking (95–100%)
  • Keyboarding (70–90%)
  • Viewing monitors, tablets, and phones requiring close vision (70–90%)
  • May lift or move boxes up to 10 pounds
  • Work Environment

  • 100% remote work‑from‑home; primarily indoors at home, customer locations, providers, or event sites.
  • Exposure to weather, temperature variations, and hazardous driving during travel.
