Job Overview :
This position will assist in the oversight of the Client Accounting department by leading a team of Accountants, providing financial reports, general ledger preparation, overseeing department processes and procedures, planning and budgeting, year-end audits, analyses and special projects. The Accounting Supervisor will collaborate with other division leaders to meet the overall business and department goals in a fast paced and tight deadline driven environment.
Your Responsibilities :
- Supervise and lead a team of Accountants
- Monitor and analyze accounting work to develop more efficient and effective procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Ensure monthly financials statements are prepared in a timely and accurate manner as required contractually
- Perform detailed reviews of client financial statements, identify potential errors, review budget variances, cash analysis
- Partner with Controller to troubleshoot accounting or reporting issues
- Work with and listen to client's changing needs, monitor client satisfaction, follow up on client inquires and requests. Review budgets and dues calculation before they are sent to residents and entered into the Client Accounting system
- Work with external audit staff to ensure timely deliverance of audit / review reports for clients
- Monitor and pay timely the yearly Real Estate Taxes for clients
- Review audit / review reports and audit adjusting entries for accuracy
- Must be able to accurately process monthly financials for blue chip accounts as determined by market president
- Equipped to assist with monthly prep of financials
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance to required shifts, meetings, trainings and related employment engagements to support position responsibilities and duties. Any alterations to required schedule must be reviewed and approved, in advance by your supervisor.

Accounting DegreeCPA preferred but not required2-5 years of supervisory experienceAssociation Management experience highly desirableKnowledge, Skills & Proficiencies :

Compensation : $70000 - $85000 / year
