Assignment Overview

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide emergency care coverage at a well-supported critical access facility in Nags Head, North Carolina .

Clinical Environment :

Average ED Volume : ~100 patients / day (1.8 pts / hr)

Average Inpatient Census : 20

ICU / Critical Care Duties : Yes

Procedures : Full scope of ED procedures

Code Response : Yes

Admissions : Managed by Hospitalist team

Candidate Requirements

Licensure : Active NC license & unrestricted DEA

Certifications : ACLS, PALS, BLS

Experience : 2+ years in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care settings

Clinical Scope : Must be comfortable with critical care and fast-paced ED procedures

Shifts : Minimum of 2–3 shifts / month preferred
