As a Security Officer - Bank Entry Desk in Jersey City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a prominent financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, managing access control and responding to security-related inquiries. You will help to deter incidents by maintaining a visible presence and providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.

Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting authorized personnel and / or visitors as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Maintain accurate records of visitor and / or employee check-ins, deliveries, and incidents occurring at the front desk.

Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and visitors, providing information and directions as needed.

Support emergency response activities according to site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

Help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activities by maintaining a visible presence at the front desk.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
