Aptar is seeking an Assembly Technician (2nd Shift) based in Cary, IL. This position is fully onsite. This roleis responsible for the total production process through the finished goods stage as well as for product safety and the quality of goods produced.

Shift Hours : 4 : 20pm - 12 : 30am, Monday - Friday

As an Assembly Technician You Will :

• Monitor multiple high speed automated production machines to ensure quality production standards are achieved
• Verify correctness of components from shop order to component number, to prevent mixed or wrong parts
• Perform quality checks visually and using various inspection gauges
• Perform testing of assembled product to insure product meets performance requirements
• Fill machine hoppers for multiple machines
• Perform rework at machine and sort machine scrap
• Perform recordkeeping duties using various production forms and a PC
• Load tubing onto or into machinery and threads tubing into machine where necessary
• Perform traceability and lot control functions utilizing a hand held scanner
• Perform and meet the requirements of BRC / GMP / ISO in all job activities

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the starting salary for this role is $18.50 (plus $1.00 / hour shift differential).
