Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Skilled Nursing Facility RN for a night shift position in California requiring an active CA RN license and at least one year of experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Work in a skilled nursing facility within a critical access hospital

Facility has 22 acute care beds and 99 long-term care beds

Night shift schedule from 4 : 45pm to 5 : 15am

Care involves both long-term care and some acute care patients

Provide individualized assessment, care planning, and nursing interventions to skilled nursing and long-term care patients

Responsible for supervising LVNs and non-professional staff and assigning work as needed

Perform accurate documentation of care, medication administration, and maintain patient confidentiality

May be required to work beyond normal hours and assist other departments as necessary

Adherence to safety, infection control standards, and professional dress code is required

Current ACLS certification is required or must be maintained during employment

Active CA RN license in good standing

Minimum one year of nursing experience required

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current CPR certification required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties throughout the shift
