Empowered Staffing is partnered with a well‑established, family‑owned luxury bedding company seeking a hands‑on Sales Manager to support its next phase of national growth. For over 40 years, the company has specialized in high‑quality comforters, pillows, and fine linens made with premium European goose down. With a strong reputation for craftsmanship and fast U.S.-based production, the brand has built a loyal client base of interior designers, luxury hotels, and high‑end retailers.
We are looking for a strong Sales Manager from the luxury home space to manage and mentor a team, lead key accounts, and leverage industry relationships to continue growing the business. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll actively manage your own accounts, lead by example, and support the development of the existing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multi‑state team of outside sales representatives, providing strategic direction, structured coaching, pipeline oversight, and regular performance reviews.
- Establish clear sales goals, KPIs, and reporting frameworks for the team; analyze results and implement corrective actions to improve performance and territory coverage.
- Optimize territory assignments and team structure, ensuring balanced workloads, market opportunity alignment, and maximum revenue potential.
- Support reps in managing and growing priority wholesale accounts, offering guidance on strategy, relationship building, and account expansion.
- Oversee relationship strategy for luxury retailers, design firms, and premium hospitality partners, ensuring consistency, high service levels, and strong brand representation across all territories.
- Drive new business development through team leadership, identifying market gaps, directing prospecting strategies, and enabling reps to expand brand presence in the luxury home market.
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly sales plans, aligning team objectives with broader organizational goals and presenting performance updates to leadership.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product development, and production to communicate market trends, customer feedback, and voice‑of‑customer insights collected by the team.
- Represent the brand through leadership presence at trade shows, client meetings, and industry events, while coordinating team participation and preparation.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and consultative selling, modeling best‑in‑class client communication and strategic planning.
Qualifications
7+ years of wholesale account management experience specifically within luxury home décor, bedding, textiles, or directly adjacent premium home categories.Demonstrated success managing luxury accounts and driving revenue growth in the high‑end retail sector.Strong understanding of the luxury consumer, sales cycle, and service expectations.Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.Experience creating and delivering against sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics.Highly organized with strong follow‑through and attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, growing environment.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.Must be able to work on‑site in the Brooklyn office.Seniority level
