Position Overview
The Receptionist at World Insurance Associates is responsible for managing calls coming into the main phone line, receiving, and distributing mail, as well as additional administrative duties to support the office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- First line of contact to receive and distribute a high volume of calls coming into phone line
- Distribute faxes via the agency management system
- Responsible for keeping inventory of all office supplies and placing approved orders for replenishment as needed
- Performs all other general administrative related duties as assigned
- Responsible for receiving, processing and distribution of physical and electronic mail as needed
- Assist in any processing for Commercial Lines and Personal Lines departments
Qualifications
Work experience with customer service responsibilitiesComputer savvy and proficient in MS Office including Power Points, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe.Excellent verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task in a fast paced and deadline driven environmentMust be able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitudeCan handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentialityStrong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills requiredExceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our customers and internal departmentsSense of urgency and problem-solving skills
