About The Position

Must-Have :
Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
OB and Arterial Extremity Doppler experience required.
Experience with General Ultrasound, small parts, and Vascular Ultrasound (upper and lower venous and arterial) is necessary.
Description :
This position requires the ability to work with multiple scanners in the department.
The average number of scans conducted is 35 per 24 hours.
The department uses EMR software for documentation and PACS for image management.
Department equipment includes Siemens S2000.
Registered Radiology Assistants are not utilized in this department.
Radiologists are available in-house 24 / 7 during daytime hours and on-call during nights.
Starting IVs is a necessary skill for this role.
Staff schedules are based on a rotating 2,2,3 shift approach, with shifts varying from 6-6, 7-7, or 8-8.
Weekend coverage is required every other weekend and there may be a holiday rotation.
Scrubs can be of any color as long as they are clean and professional.
Permanent staff typically wear emerald green.
There may be department-specific orientation with a preceptor.
Client may cancel two shifts per 13-week assignment.
