We are seeking energetic, motivated individuals who are dedicated to exceptional guest experiences, high-quality ingredients, and exemplary service. As a host / hostess, you are the first point of contact for guests. The Host / Hostess is responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing waitlists, and accurately quoting wait times.
Key Responsibilities :
- Warmly welcome guests as they arrive, creating a positive first impression. Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Answer incoming phone calls; take and fill to-go and curbside orders; clean, organize and stock menus; and perform other assigned side work.
- Track table status and manage the seating chart, to ensure efficient and balanced table assignments. Coordinate with servers and bussers to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times.
- Take names and phone numbers for the waiting list and quote accurate wait times to guests when tables are not immediately available.
- Clearly communicate wait times and manage guest expectations. Provide updates as needed and ensure guests are informed of any changes.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Provide information about the menu and specials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized host / hostess station. Ensure that the waiting area and entrance are tidy and welcoming.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Relay any special requests or issues to the appropriate team members.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with empathy and efficiency, escalating to management if necessary.

Requirements
Qualifications :Must be at least 16 years of age.
Basic mathematic skills and ability to handle cash and operate a POS system accurately.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment.Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Certifications :Texas Food Handlers Certification.
TABC certification for serving alcohol if 18 years of age.Physical Requirements :Ability to stand for prolonged periods, move at a rapid pace, bend, twist, and lift products weighing up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a host / hostess or in a customer service role is preferred but not requiredWorking knowledge of point-of-sale systems preferredHigh school diploma or GED preferred.
