As an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) you will be responsible for developing, achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department's daily operations. Essential functions to the success of this role include :

• Consistently promote a positive & healthy work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers.
• Collaboratively work with nurse leaders in maintaining productivity, supporting initiatives, and ensuring units / departments are appropriately staffed.
• Assist in identifying staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.
• Daily productivity and expense management and support unit / department manager with budget preparation.
• Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit / department goals.
• Encourage employee participation in decision through shared governance and support change management.
• Support professional development to improve employee retention.
