Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to perform preventative maintenance (PM) on a variety of equipment and perform each essential function satisfactory, with or without supervision. In addition, this employee should be attentive and able to consistently operate in an efficient manner.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and compliance by conducting DOT inspections on tractors and trailers
- Perform preventative maintenance on tractors, trailers and other equipment
- Evaluate equipment and make recommendations for improvements and / or take preventative maintenance action
- Conduct yard checks and equipment inspections with attention to detail
- Carry out minor repairs and serve as a Utility Tech or Maintenance Tech when not completing PMs
- Occasional off-site preventative maintenance at unit locations (infrequent)

Ability to inspect and adjust brakesAbility to recognize and handle cosmetic deficiencies as neededAbility to drive tractor and trailer on private property (no CDL required)Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitudeAbility to recognize potential and / or existing defects / malfunctionsAble to meet all physical demandsEducation & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalentHVAC certification and some similar industry experienceJob Type : Full-Time

Hourly Pay Range : $18 - $22 (depending on experience)
