Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,300 per week in Saint Louis, MO

Must have been at the bedside within the last 6 months. Description : This position is for a Registered Nurse in a step-down unit. The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts with a patient ratio of 1 : 4. Two years of experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend requirements include two shifts every other weekend. Certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and NIH are mandatory. Nurses will float within the scope to meet facility needs. Experience with titration of vasopressors, sedation medication, arterial lines, and chest tubes is essential. The unit provides high acuity care to adult patients transitioning from ICU. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Every traveler must demonstrate proficiency with required equipment and procedures. No local candidates will be accepted within a specified radius. References from supervisory positions within the last two years are preferred. All nurses will comply with health and safety protocols as mandated by the facility. The travel nurse should be prepared to float within the service line as necessary.
