Description : As a System Engineer, you are responsible for providing support to our web-based mission application and its customers . This software product is a full life cycle software suite that provides audio & video ingest, storage, query, playback, analysis, and transcription features. Our application is used by national and tactical analysts on small systems (laptops) and large systems (server farms). You will be working with technologies including Amazon Web Services / VMs, Kubernetes, Docker, Grafana, Kabana, GitLab CI / CD, Jira, and Confluence.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and provision cloud infrastructure
- Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines
- Monitor performance across Tier 1 systems
- Ensure system security and compliance
- Resolve customer support tickets through Jira Service Desk
- Document testing and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Perform application testing, including test case creation and maintenance
- Execute application deployments and upgrades
- Assist in migration efforts to a HCI environment
- Provide application training and demos to a variety of customers
- Collaborate with development teams and users to design and implement new features
- Occasionally respond to mission-critical after-hours calls
- Participate in minor CONUS / OCONUS travel (~1-2 times per year)

Compensation :
We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
