Job Title : County-Dental Hygienist

Location : Ocala, FL 34475

Pay Rate : depends on experience

Duration : 5 months with the opportunity to become permanent

Travel : 10% of the time. May be assigned to a school site. Can ride with a state employee in a state vehicle. Normally will be at an elementary school for the entire day, with no travel required during business hours.

Tools / Equipment : Dental hygiene tools, Eaglesoft, and HMS computer software

Job Description :

• Use dental instruments and hygiene equipment to perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planning.
• Instruct patients in preventive dental techniques.
• Assist a high number of patients as required.
• Work collaboratively with dentists, assistants, student assistants, and volunteers.
