Clean Harbors is searching for a reliable and safety oriented I&E Maintenance Technician with an excellent INSTRUMENTATION and MECHANICAL aptitude to join our Dickinson, TX team!
The I&E Maintenance technician will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC / Delta V programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the maintenance departments with various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities
Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe mannerTroubleshoots instrument and control malfunctionsPerforms preventative maintenance checks and calibrationsMaintains accurate records and logs as requiredInstalls new system controls (including power wiring)Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centersServices and replaces motors and lightingPerforms general maintenanceOther duties as assignedQualifications
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
HS Diploma or EquivalentInstrumentation degree, or certification preferred4+ years of I&E experience in a plant environment preferredSolid instrumentation skillsExperience with PLC Programming experience - Delta V is preferredHoneywell experienceDistributed control system (DCS) experience requiredInstalling VFDs (Variable Frequency Drive) requiredMechanical aptitude and experienceExperience working with 480v and belowProficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematicsProficiency in process and instrumentation diagrams (PID)Team player willing to assist where neededAbility to prioritize workMust be able to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stoop, lift, climb and stand for long periods of timeClean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.
