Case Manager / Success Coach

Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-Greater New York) is an anti-poverty organization working to end homelessness in the New York area by 2050. We operate over 60 programs across New York City, Northern New Jersey and Westchester County including emergency, transitional and permanent housing. Our services extend to families experiencing homelessness, survivors of domestic violence, people living with HIV / AIDS, veterans, youth aging out of foster care, adults with behavioral health or substance use needs , and others in need, including a special education preschool program.

Position : Case Manager / Success Coach

We seek a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager / Success Coach to join our team in supporting young adults on their journey toward employment and career development. As a Case Manager / Success Coach, you will be vital in providing individualized support, guidance, and resources to help young adults overcome barriers and achieve their employment and training goals. You will work closely with program participants to assess their needs, develop personalized action plans, connect them with relevant services, and monitor their progress throughout the program .

Location : New York, NY 10032

Minimum Qualifications :

• Associate's degree or 60 college credits courses in Human Services or related field or High School Diploma or GED with 2 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of youth development principles, career counseling techniques, and employment trends.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
