$275 / hr

Requisition : Ongoing Locum Coverage

Shift Schedule : 8 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 AM, primarily nights and weekends

Shift Availability :

09.11, 09.12, 09.13, 09.17, 09.18, 09.19 (8 PM - 8 AM)

Position Overview : Facility seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide locum coverage at its emergency departments in Gallipolis, Ohio. Physicians must be available for 8-10 shifts per month consistently, with a focus on night shifts and weekends. Schedule & Duties :

Shift Hours : 8 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 AM (night shifts); occasional day shifts as needed

Patient Volume : Approximately 20,000 annually

Hospital Admission Rate : 17%

Transfer Rate : Less than 7%

Total Number of Beds : 11

EMR : Allscripts / Paragon

Support : Physicians will oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and write orders for admissions. Fast track is available in the ED.

Consultants Available : Radiologist, Cardiologist, Pulmonologist, Gastroenterologist, Urologist, Hematologist / Oncologist.

Required Qualifications :

Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine (ABMS / AOA Required; double-boarded ABPS acceptable)

Ohio State License (REQUIRED, not accepting IMLC candidates)

COVID-19 Vaccination (REQUIRED)

NRP Certification (REQUIRED)

2+ years of recent experience in Emergency Medicine (REQUIRED)
