Tatum has teamed up with wonderful, family owned and ran CPA and tax services firm located in Gloucester County, New Jersey! They are looking for a full-time, detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional with experience serving small business clients, with a strong command of QuickBooks (both Desktop and Online) . The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, managing multiple client accounts, and supporting basic tax preparation activities.

responsibilities : Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Partnership tax returns form 1065 , Corporate returns form1120-returns and Sub S Corp form 1102S.
• Provide full-cycle bookkeeping services for a portfolio of small business clients across various industries.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including recording transactions, as well as preparing monthly financial statements including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
• Set up and manage QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online files for clients, ensuring clean and consistent data entry.
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll tax filings, as needed.
• Support clients in organizing and preparing financial records for quarterly and year-end tax filings.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather documentation, answer questions, and resolve bookkeeping issues.
• Collaborate with internal tax preparers by providing accurate and complete books to streamline tax return preparation.
• Help implement bookkeeping best practices and provide recommendations to improve client financial processes.
• Stay up to date with QuickBooks updates, accounting standards, and small business tax compliance requirements.
