You Will Be Doing :
Under the general direction of the Vendor Manager in this role you will provide substantive support for the WIC Vendor Unit a component of The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women Infants and Children (WIC) which monitors compliance of WIC-approved grocery stores / vendors. This position requires the interpretation application and execution of federal and state regulations and policies.
Your duties in this postion also include policy development research and running food utilization analysis for WIC Local Clinics. This position also ensures regular and sustainable cross-training and that all federal / state vendor requirements are met. This functional area collects and monitors information regarding vendor management as well as food delivery systems food instruments and electronic benefits. This includes oversight of the Approved Product List working with the WIC Dietitian 2 for technical assistance.
In this role you will perform advanced-level professional work develop new courses and provide a variety of training and training development and consultative services to state agencies state employees WIC agencies and community partners.

Minimum Qualifications :
Any combination of education and / or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in
equivalent to those typically gained by :
Educationin a biological health or behavioral science; public healthcare or business administration; data management or a closely related field;
AND / OR
Progressively responsible paraprofessional experience supporting a health and social service program and delivery system; applying requisite rules regulations and terminology used in the work; completing medical billing medical claims medical transcriptions and / or medical coding; and / or using computer applications databases and reporting systems required to process store and maintain data and information subject to privacy and confidentiality laws and rules.
