IT Support Technician (Level 1)
Type of Role : 6 Months to 1 Year Contract

Compensation : $22–$24 per hour
Job Summary :
We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician (Level 1) to join a client in Lemont, IL. This is a contract position designed to support end users in a fast-paced, onsite environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-user IT support via phone, email, and in-person requests
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network issues
- Document incidents and service requests in the ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support staff as needed
- Support Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic Active Directory tasks
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Assist with user account management and password resets
- Maintain a high level of customer service and communication
Required Qualifications :
1+ year of IT support or help desk experienceStrong understanding of Windows 10 / 11 and Microsoft Office suiteBasic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and prioritize tasks effectivelyHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or technical certifications a plus)Work Schedule :
