About StringBean

\t

StringBean is a no-code workflow automation platform built for facilities operations teams. We help commercial property managers, retail operators, and facilities management companies streamline compliance, inspections, and maintenance through mobile-first workflows and audit-grade evidence capture.

Our platform empowers subject matter experts to build and deploy workflows without IT involvement, connecting field workers with the tools they need to stay compliant and efficient.

The Role

We're looking for our first Product Manager to own the product roadmap and manage both our development and customer success teams to ensure everything moves at the right pace. This isn't a role where you'll be handed requirements. You'll be expected to talk to customers, identify opportunities, and drive features from concept to launch.

You'll be joining at an inflection point where early traction is turning into real momentum, and your decisions will directly shape the product and company trajectory.

What You'll Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own the product roadmap and prioritize features based on customer feedback, market needs, and business impact
  • Identify and evaluate new product opportunities through customer research and competitive analysis
  • Make tough tradeoff decisions on what to build, what to defer, and what to kill

Feature Development

  • Design new features by learning from customers and making the right product decisions
  • Create user stories, wireframes, and product requirements that engineering can execute against
  • Work directly with the head developer to scope features and estimate timelines
  • Think through edge cases and ensure features work for our diverse customer base
  • Manage pacing across development and customer success teams to keep everything aligned
  • Customer & Market Insights

  • Conduct user interviews and synthesize feedback into actionable insights
  • Understand the facilities management space deeply : compliance requirements, operational workflows, pain points
  • Stay on top of competitive landscape and industry trends
  • Go-to-Market

  • Create compelling product narratives and customer-facing materials (decks, one-pagers, demos)
  • Support sales conversations with product expertise and custom demos when needed
  • Partner with customers to beta test new features and gather feedback
  • Execution & Collaboration

  • Manage development and customer success teams to ensure proper pacing and alignment
  • Drive sprint planning and keep the team aligned on priorities
  • Communicate product decisions clearly to stakeholders
  • \t

  • Balance moving fast with attention to detail. We ship quickly but can't afford to ship broken features
  • What We're Looking For

    Required :

  • 2-4 years of product management experience (or equivalent experience in related roles like consulting, operations, or technical project management)
  • Experience managing or coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Track record of shipping products or features that customers actually use
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can explain complex ideas simply
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information
  • Self-starter mentality. You don't wait for someone to tell you what to do
  • Attention to detail and ability to think through edge cases
  • Basic understanding of technical concepts and ability to work with engineers
  • Scrappy and resourceful. You can figure things out independently
  • Bonus Points :

  • Experience with B2B SaaS products, especially in workflow automation or operations software
  • Familiarity with facilities management, property management, or field service industries
  • Experience at early-stage startups (pre-Series A)
  • Background in consulting, operations, or customer success
  • Technical skills (SQL, basic coding, API knowledge)
  • What We Value :

  • Judgment over experience : We care more about how you think than your resume
  • Bias to action : Ship and iterate rather than perfect in isolation
  • Customer obsession : Talk to customers constantly, build what they need
  • Intellectual honesty : Say "I don't know" when you don't know, then go find out
  • Low ego : Best idea wins, regardless of who it comes from
  • What Success Looks Like

    First 30 Days :

  • Complete customer interviews with 10+ users across different segments
  • Shadow the sales team and join customer demos
  • Ship your first small feature or improvement
  • Build relationships with development and customer success teams
  • Understand technical constraints and customer pain points
  • First 90 Days :

  • Own the product roadmap for your domain
  • Lead sprint planning and feature scoping with the development team
  • Successfully manage pacing between development and customer success
  • Deliver a significant feature that moves key metrics
  • Establish yourself as the product expert on customer needs
  • First Year :

  • Drive multiple major features from concept to adoption
  • Successfully manage pacing and priorities across development and customer success teams
  • Build customer feedback loops that consistently inform roadmap decisions
  • Help shape company strategy through product insights
  • Why StringBean?

  • Impact : Your work directly influences what gets built. In a larger company, you'd be one PM among many. Here, you're THE product voice.
  • Learning : Work alongside experienced founders and lead your own teams. Learn by doing, with room to make mistakes and grow.
  • Market Opportunity : Facilities management is a massive, underserved market ripe for disruption. Early winners in this space will own it for a decade.
  • Ownership : This isn't a "product coordinator" role where you execute someone else's vision. You'll own outcomes and have real authority.
  • Stage : Join early enough that your equity and influence matter, late enough that we have real customers and revenue.

PTO : 4 weeks annually commencing after 3 months employment

We move fast. Expect a decision within 2 weeks of starting the process
