About the Team

Workday is a leading provider of enterprise cloud applications for finance and human resources. We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Salesforce & Back-end Integration Engineer to join our technology team, specifically working with the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) product. This is a creative role responsible for building the applications that connect with our CRM back-end services, ensuring data is secure, performant, and reliable.

About the Role

You will be the bridge between our business operations and our technical infrastructure. You'll work on the full lifecycle of data and services, from implementing custom logic within Salesforce using Apex to designing and building robust, scalable APIs with Python. A key part of your role will be ensuring seamless, high-performance data flow by adhering to strict security standards and Salesforce's governor limits.

Key Responsibilities

• Salesforce Implementation : Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions within Salesforce using Apex, triggers, and Visualforce .
• API Development : Architect and build high-performance back-end APIs using Python to facilitate communication between Salesforce and external systems.
• Performance, Governance & Data Management : Write efficient and scalable code in both Apex and Python, with a deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits . Actively monitor and optimize code to ensure platform performance.
• Security & Reliability : Implement robust security measures across all APIs and data integrations. Ensure systems are fault-tolerant and highly available.
• Operational Excellence & Observability : Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging strategies to ensure the health and performance of all integrations and back-end services.
• Collaboration : Partner with Salesforce Administrators, business analysts, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission / bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range : $153,600 USD - $230,400 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range : $145,900 USD - $259,200 USD
