Job Summary and Qualifications
The Pediatric Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Coordinator oversees and ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care during designated shifts. Working closely with the management team, the coordinator directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in alignment with established medical policies, serving as a resource for staff and demonstrating a commitment to our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities :
Facilitate efficient admission and discharge processes to enhance patient quality and throughput.Participate in ongoing evaluations of patient care services in collaboration with the management team.Promote a teamwork environment by collaborating with subject matter experts and fellow managers.Engage in patient-first practices and implement service recovery when necessary.Enhance staff engagement through initiatives like hourly rounding.Support recruitment and training efforts for new staff members.Assist with staff scheduling, balancing labor with patient care needs.Manage inventory and supply control.Qualifications :
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.Must possess a Registered Nurse (RN) license.Associate Degree required.A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.No travel is required for this position.
