Inland Marine Underwriter

A company is looking for an Executive Underwriter for their Inland Marine line of business. Key Responsibilities Underwrite new and renewal accounts to meet business targets and negotiate pricing and terms Develop and maintain strong relationships with producers and clients while representing the company externally Participate in the development of underwriting strategies and support acquisition and retention of business Required Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience in underwriting inland marine business In-depth understanding of inland marine products and regional / local insurance markets Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics preferred Ability to assess risk exposures and manage underwriting books effectively Proficiency in general office applications and willingness to utilize AI tools for efficiency
