AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for designing, planning, delivering, and operating all AWS global infrastructure. We support data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment to ensure our customers have continuous access. We tackle challenging problems with numerous variables impacting the supply chain and seek talented individuals to join our team.

We are looking for a Network Deployment Technician to support our infrastructure operations. You will have the opportunity to work independently in a dynamic environment to enhance network stability and develop automation and scaling solutions.

Your key responsibilities include :

  • Supporting multiple data center locations and managing capacity
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
  • Leveraging your experience with large-scale networks, troubleshooting, and implementation in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
  • Establishing and refining operational procedures

Physical Requirements :

  • Lift / move up to 40 pounds; participate in group lifts for heavier loads
  • Work in a 24 / 7 environment, participate in rotation, and provide after-hours support
  • Work in cramped, elevated, or noisy environments
  • Stand, walk, bend, lift, stretch, and reach for up to 8+ hours daily
  • Ascend / descend ladders and stairs safely

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage work and priorities via ticketing systems
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve project issues
  • Troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues
  • Specify power and cooling needs, hardware racking / staking
  • Participate in migration, configuration, and hardware rollout
  • Travel within the regional work area is required. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are necessary.

    Basic Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year in technical roles such as hardware repair, cabling, network deployment, or data center operations
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CCENT, Network+)
  • Knowledge of network cabling, testing equipment, and infrastructure technologies
  • Experience with network troubleshooting tools and protocols (Cisco IOS, BGP, OSPF)

    Compensation ranges from $47,800 to $106,700 annually, depending on your location and experience. Additional benefits may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and more.
