Cardiology - Noninvasive Physician

Job Details :

Position : Locum Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Location : Coos Bay, OR

Hours : Full-time (80 hours per pay period), 3-month commitment with possible extension

Clinic Hours : 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Patient Load : 15-18 patients per day (outpatient clinic)

Support Staff : MA, Triage RN team, Device Clinic staff

Call Coverage : 1-2 nights weekly (5 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 AM); one weekend / month (Friday 5 : 00 PM Monday 8 : 00 AM)

Inpatient / Outpatient Split : 80% outpatient, 20% inpatient (call only)

EMR System : EPIC

Key Responsibilities :

Perform Echo and non-nuclear stress test readings

Read EKGs and Holter monitors

Preferred : Experience with trans-esophageal echocardiography and performing cardioversion

Work collaboratively with a team of 4 physicians to provide top-notch patient care

Enjoy excellent support from a dedicated triage RN team and device clinic

Requirements :

Board Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Oregon license OR Any state license with willingness to obtain OR license if offered the job

Minimum 1 year of cardiology experience

Clean malpractice / background
