Position Summary

The Accounts Payable / Cost Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and financial functions associated with supplier invoice processing check processing maintaining standard costs inventory management (including physical inventories) and G / L account reconciliation. Pay range is $22.50-$27.50

Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks

Maintain accounts payable records

Enter all vendor invoices

Coordinate any needed invoice approvals

Monitor past due statements from vendors

Process Visa credit card and expense reporting

Maintain capital expenditure files

Process AP check runs

Filing

Responsible for knowing and following all environmental health and safety rules policies and procedures for work area and takes responsibility to assure that personal work activity is conducted in such a way so as to not affect the safety of themselves or others.

All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Requires a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum 2 years experience in Accounts Payable or Cost Accounting role
