Job Description : About the Role :

Hitachi Energy in Alamo TN is recruiting a Floater in OIP. Applicants must be able to assemble process (including impregnation if required) fit for shipping of all power bushings. Understanding of OIP impregnation process is required. This position will primarily be 1stshift but will sometimes work staggering shifts based on business needs.

Responsibilities :

Prep lines to ensure assembler has correct and sufficient materials

Research and resolve material shortages

Work with material coordinator to ensure assembler has proper seals

Facilitate loading and unloading of tanks

Maintain o il levels on multiple lines

Backfill assembler at Line 1 and T- bushing

Must be able to prove and maintain ability to access and read drawings along with the ability to run required SAP transactions.

Ability to assemble bushing according to procedures specifications and customer requirements

Able to keep work area free from clutter and clean and free of all contaminants

Able to work with materials such as paper oil gaskets various metal parts (aluminum copper and steel) epoxy compounds glass sealants porcelain and foil

Must be able to train continuously on new equipment or new processes within the organization based upon assignment

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum of one year manufacturing experience

Must be willing to operate winding machine
