ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel CT Technologist Level II for a travel job in Rochester, New York.

Opportunity :

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details :

  • Work overnight shifts Monday through Friday from 3 : 00 PM EST to 11 : 30 PM EST
  • Holidays, on-call, and callback shifts per unit needs
  • Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating scans following department safety protocols
  • Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging services
  • Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort
  • Insert IVs when necessary for testing procedures
  • Position patients accordingly, including lifting or moving patients with limited mobility using safe patient handling techniques
  • Maintain accurate patient record keeping by documenting all necessary components within EPIC
  • Ensure proper image identification and correct transmission to PACS system upon exam completion
  • Maintain clean and safe scanning facility environment
  • Completion of formal training in approved School of Radiologic Technology required
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • NYS licensure required prior to starting position
  • Two years of experience required
  • Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
  • Six months Siemens scanner experience required
  • Injection certification preferred, must be willing to complete during orientation
  • Knowledge of Philips and Siemens equipment preferred
  • Epic experience highly desired (1 year)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Patient and compassionate disposition essential
  • Team player who can maintain cohesive working environment

The facility features advanced diagnostic imaging technology including state-of-the-art CT equipment from leading manufacturers. As a teaching hospital, it maintains high standards for patient care while utilizing cutting-edge medical technology and electronic health record systems to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
