JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : Round on all NICU babies Attend high risk deliveries (typically 67 shifts / month)Back up the Pediatric Hospitalist as requestedAttend High Risk Followup Clinic once per month for a half dayAttend Medical Staff Meetings (General, Peds, Perinatal M&M)Serve on Medical Staff Committees as requested (usually 1 committee)Cover 10 shifts / year at 2nd facility : UCSF Benioff Childrens Hospital, OaklandDETAILS : Level 3 16bed NICUAll highrisk deliveries 35 weeks are shared between the Hospitalists and the NeonatologistsNICU averages about 170 admissions per year Average daily census is approximately 78The NICU manages infants >
