GENERAL FUNCTIONS :

• The primary focus of this position is to perform duties in a manufacturing environment, within areas include Surfacing, Finishing, and Coating.
• All duties and procedures are to be performed according to the established standard and in compliance with all company and governing body policies.
• It is required that this position maintain regular, prompt attendance and availability for overtime as needed.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Clipping : Clip and secure lenses into baskets to begin the coating process.

Inspection : Inspect lenses prior to and immediately after coatings process to ensure that they are optically, cosmetically accurate, and in compliance with work ticket.

Mounting : Accurately apply drill holes to the lenses to ensure proper fit and alignment of the lenses and insert lenses into the frame while ensuring proper fit. May utilize the bevel wheel to remove the sharp edges of the lens.

Lens Preparation : Prepare Lens for surfacing process which includes de-boxing of product, taping exposed lens, and tray up.

Taping : Operate taping equipment to apply protective tape to the front of the lenses.

Pay Range : $16.50  - $20.00

Shift Differential - $1.00

Monday - Thursday 3 : 30pm-12 : 00am, Sunday 7 : 30am - 4 : 00pm

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and / or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
