Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $3,706 per week in Morgantown, WV

Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession : IR Technologist Specialty : Interventional Radiology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Monday - Friday Hours per Shift : 8 hours (7 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM) Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Required Certifications : ARRT, BLS Must-Have : ACLS preferred Description : Monitors and interprets hemodynamic monitoring. Observes sterile technique while assembling supplies necessary for physicians and other lab personnel involved. Maintains the confidentiality of patient and unit information. Prepares entry site applicable to the procedure using sterile technique. Continuously monitors patient's ECG and blood pressure while documenting and advising the physician of any activity. Participates in the on-call rotation of the laboratory and remains available for emergent procedures 24 hours a day. Acts as the laboratory's code team by initiating resuscitative measures under the direct supervision of the physician in charge. Correctly documents all procedures performed and utilizes the inventory control system established. Participates in educational and in-service opportunities. Instructs radiography students in the clinical setting regarding patient positioning and technique selection. Maintains specialization in neuroradiology and vascular interventional radiology procedures. Participates in inventory management of the department. Checks and prepares the patient prior to the procedure. Participates in performance improvement activities. Scrubs are provided; scrub color to be determined. Call requirements : 1-2 shifts per week, plus every 3rd or 4th weekend. Possible holiday call with a 30-minute call back time.
