Position Overview

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant for travel assignments in various healthcare facilities. The Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support to healthcare providers, ensuring efficient patient care. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and clinical proficiency in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures .
• Record vital signs and update patient medical histories .
• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments .
• Administer injections and medications as directed by a physician.
• Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection .
• Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) and basic laboratory tests.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records .
• Educate patients on medications, treatments, and preventive care .
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies .
• Travel to various healthcare facilities for temporary assignments .
