Travel Nurse RN - Medical Intensive Care Unit - $1,876 per week in Florence, SC

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical Intensive Care Unit Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day Shift Hours per Shift : 12 Hours Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience required, preferably 2 years. License : Current licensure required. Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have : - First-time travelers are not accepted. - Candidates must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs. - Weekend and holiday rotations are required. Description : This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. The shift will consist of three 12-hour days from 7 AM to 7 PM. Candidates will be expected to handle a patient ratio of 1 : 2. All requests for time off must be included at the time of application. Approval for time off will be based on facility needs. Floating to similar units may be required to meet staffing needs. A current state license or a compact license must be held prior to starting. Candidates should possess experience in critical care procedures and patient management. Only non-local candidates will be considered. Travelers should be aware of the possibility of emergency response assignments during hurricane season. All certifications must be valid and up to date prior to the start of the position.
