Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Description :

This position involves working in a Labor and Delivery unit.

The unit has 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, and 6 triage rooms, alongside 3 Labor and Delivery operating rooms.

The typical staffing matrix for the night shift includes 1 charge nurse and 7-9 RNs.

Patient ratios are generally 2 : 1, with 1 : 1 for complicated patients.

The unit is equipped with FHR monitors and utilizes EMR systems.

Common procedures performed include vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

Responsibilities include directing and coordinating all nursing care for labor and delivery, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients.
