About The Position

Summary : The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials to help physicians detect and treat diseases. The technologist prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, operates imaging equipment, and ensures safe, accurate studies while providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures.
• Perform nuclear medicine scans such as bone scans, cardiac studies, thyroid scans, PET / CT, and other routine exams.
• Operate gamma cameras, SPECT, PET / CT scanners, and related imaging equipment.
• Verify patient identity, obtain medical history, and explain procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort and monitor for reactions or complications.
