Qualifications for Director Of Interior Design

Professional degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's required). NCIDQ Certification is required. Minimum of 10 years of interior design experience, including at least 5 years in leadership or senior project roles. Extensive experience in healthcare architecture and interior environments. Deep knowledge of healthcare codes, ADA compliance, and FGI Guidelines. Proven success in leading and mentoring design teams. Strong vendor management and educational coordination skills. Responsibilities of the Director Of Interior Design

Lead and mentor the interior design team, overseeing hiring, training, and professional growth. Develop a strategic design vision aligned with the firm's goals and healthcare focus. Provide design leadership, fostering creativity and innovation in projects. Attract and develop top talent to maintain a high-performing team. Ensure quality control throughout all project phases, maintaining design integrity and attention to detail. Promote a positive, collaborative culture within the Interiors Department.
