About the role :

Responsible for supporting and assisting software / mechanical / or electrical engineering activities. Often involves specialized equipment in a laboratory or bench environment. Position will be supporting Urology R&D.

Work Mode :

At Boston Scientific we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model requiring employees to be in our local office at five days per week.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Supports tools and / or software by creating and maintaining tools involving others as appropriate to solve issues. Qualifies equipment performs maintenance and calibration activities as required.
• Maintains detailed documentation through all phases of development testing and analysis.
• Continuously improves process and work methodologies by interfacing with peers engineers and analyzing activities to improve workflow and work processes.
• Performs Design Verification and exploratory R&D testing. Documents test results and test reports by writing documents reports memos change requests. Methods used are determined by approved procedures and standards.
• Works from schematics engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• Supports NCEPs and CAPAs
• Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes / products from concepts.
• Explore and propose creative solutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.
• Organize coordinate and execute building and testing of prototypes / products per engineering instructions.
• Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.
• Act as a resource to other employees.
• Communicate project status to project teams.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. Compensation for non-exempt (hourly) non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
