Description :

This position is for a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse specializing in telemetry.

The nurse will work night shifts, three times a week.

The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients' vitals and providing high-quality care.

The nurse will have a patient ratio of 1 : 6.

The position requires the interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of cardiac drips without titration.

The nurse will also be responsible for non-invasive airway management and peripheral line care / management.

Floating between medical-surgical and intermediate care units is required.

Candidates must possess strong skills in the management of post-operative patients and patients on non-titrating drips.

The patient populations include adults and geriatrics, with conditions such as pneumonia, respiratory failure, sepsis, and chest pain.

Additionally, interdisciplinary support will be provided by physical therapy, respiratory services, and other teams as needed.

It is important to have flexibility and adaptability in this role.
