Tax Director

A company is looking for a Director, Tax to lead the tax department and manage tax compliance and provision for a multinational consolidated group. Key Responsibilities Lead the preparation and reporting of the consolidated tax provision in accordance with International Accounting Standards Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax workpapers and returns Provide technical guidance to the tax team and develop best practices for tax processes Required Qualifications BS in Accounting or related field; MS in Taxation preferred Progressive corporate tax experience in multinational tax compliance and financial reporting Strong knowledge of Thomson Reuters OneSource corporate tax software and Microsoft Excel Up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes, including the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and CARES Act Excellent understanding of multinational and multi-state corporate tax laws
