• Department : Med Surg Neuro - 4th Floor North
• Certifications : BLS and NIHSS required MS Neuro patients include any med / surg tele patient including strokes, any stable neurological deficit, post neurosurgery procedures in addition to any other Med Surg overflow no RT equipment troubleshooting - # of Beds : 25 - Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 5-6 - Common diagnosis / Types of patients : MedSurg / Tele- joint replacements, fractures, colon resections, COPD exacerbation, prostatectomy, cellulitis, sepsis, ortho trauma, GI bleeds, pneumonia, failure to thrive - Are RN's required to titrate drips? : Heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine - Common titratable & / or set rate drips : PCA pumps
