Presently, Cornerstone is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Project Manger.JOB OVERVIEWThe Project Manger will lead, manage, and optimize Cornerstone’s unique project startup and project management process. The Project Manager will also assist with business development.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides direct leadership to the project team both in-office and on-site; ensures all team members understand their purpose, direction, motivation, and developmentResponsible for the overall success of the project team and maximizing customer satisfaction based on project timeline, budget, and achieving financial targetsExemplifies Cornerstone’s Mission and Vision; sets the example by treating every client, design partners, subcontractors, and internal crew as if they were critical to the organization’s overall successMaximizes project success, efficiency, and coordination through a strong working relationship, clear and concise communication, and day-to-day relationships with the Project Engineers, Superintendents, and other key stakeholdersEvaluates, develops, and implements internal controls designed to mitigate financial, reputational, legal, and safety risks; ensures all quality control challenges, issues, and findings are addressed immediatelyServes as the project liaison for reviewing and submitting change orders, material orders, updating project forecasts, weekly labor costs, and reviewing all invoices prior to submissionParticipates in preconstruction, on-going, and “close-out” meetings, reviews, evaluations, and proposals, as needed, based on previous project outcomes, experience, and the individual aspects of each projectQUALIFICATIONSRequired2 years of college and / or trade school experience2-3 years of Project Management experience3-5 years experience in construction2-3 years in a leadership position in constructionPreferredBachelor’s degree in Construction Management or similar discipline3+ years of Project Management experience5+ years of experience in construction3+ years experience in vertical construction3+ years in a leadership position in constructionPHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear.
