Technician, Roll Off ( CDL Class A / B Driver)

Description : Position Summary

The Roll-Off Driver is responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting waste from sewer plants to landfill sites. Roll-Off Drivers will navigate alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways and may operate in tight overhead environments while on industrial routes. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential, to successfully perform this job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate Roll-Off vehicle to and from job sites and WRE locations
• Provide effective communication between customers and Wind River Environmental
• Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency (get truck ready, tools, etc.)
• Drive truck to and from job site, following all traffic laws
• Respond to trouble / emergency calls in a timely manner
• Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols
• Must be able to work overtime including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to work on-call rotations as needed
• Must comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations
• Must practice safe work methods to remain accident and injury free. Must have the ability to recognize hazards inherent in routine and non-routine tasks and make adjustments to avoid loss, injury or accident.
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriate to your job
• Other duties as assigned by management
• The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $25.00 - $29.00 hourly at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
