Responsibilities Position based in home hospice and palliative care across three hospitals Provides care in the field and may require floating to sister hospitals Evening shift hours from 3 : 00 p.m. to 11 : 00 p.m. Every other weekend required with compensatory days off during the week Training will initially be on day shift until independent clearance Patient population includes hospice and palliative care at the general inpatient level Utilizes the Epic EMR system Conducts patient assessments, develops and revises care plans, and educates families and patients Admits patients to general inpatient level of hospice care and provides medication recommendations Performs case management and coordinates interdisciplinary communication and meetings Maintains visit productivity standards and follows infection control and safe medication management protocols Compensatory days provided for weekend work Travelers may not exceed one year on assignment, with a 30-60 day break required before returning Attendance at meetings and participation in training and orientation required Requirements Active NJ or compact state RN license Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a registered nurse in a home hospice environment BLS certification required Valid New Jersey driver's license required Experience using an EMR Excellent critical thinking and communication skills Must live more than 50 miles from the assignment location Submission requires current license verification and two references Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-629186.
