Travel Nurse RN - Operating Room - $2,218 per week in York, PA

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Operating Room Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 hours (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Experience : Minimum 2 years of neuro experience required License : Active RN license required Certifications : BLS, EPIC experience required Must-Have : Neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics experience required Description : Will work one of two major upcoming holidays. No requests for time off around Christmas and New Year's can be approved. Neuro experience is required. Travelers without neuro experience will not be considered. Candidate will work three 12-hour shifts. There is no guaranteed block scheduling. On-call shifts are required 1-2 times per week from Monday to Thursday. Call starts after the shift at 07 : 00 the next morning. A 30-minute callback response is required. Two weekend call shifts are expected every six weeks, starting at the end of the shift on Friday. No scheduled weekend shifts are available, only call. Holiday shifts will be scheduled based on department needs. Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staff to assess clinical fit. If clinically appropriate and within guidelines, the candidate will be sent for a final decision. Candidates will be interviewed by the manager. First-time travelers will not be accepted. The facility may care for COVID patients. This is a tobacco and fragrance-free facility. All RTO must be minimized to a maximum of seven days. Local candidates within a specified radius will be offered at a lower rate. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience. Charting system experience is required. The patient ratio for days and weekends is one. Weekend coverage is included. Experience with trauma level II is required, and trauma level I is preferred. Candidates must be able to function independently in neurosurgery. Special procedures and equipment knowledge is necessary. Modules will be completed pre-start and will take approximately 5-6 hours to complete. Modules are billable.
