About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - ICU / MS

Profession : Registered Nurse

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day / Night Rotating Shifts

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years of experience required

License : RN license

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS required

Must-Have :

ICU trained

Ability to monitor telemetry for acute care patients

Experience with cardioversions, PACU, and management of continuous IV medications

Description :

Nurses will work in an ICU / Med-Surg setting, caring for critically ill patients.

The unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 1 or 2 : 1 in ICU, and 1 : 3-5 in Med-Surg.

The focus is on providing high-quality patient care in a critical access hospital environment.

Nurses must be willing to float to other departments as needed.

Weekend obligations include working 2-3 weekends in a 6-week schedule and every other holiday.

Call is not required, but nurses may act as the only ICU skilled nurse in-house.

Dress code for nurses includes navy blue scrubs and a pale palette for shirts under scrubs.

Nurses will receive 1 day of Med-Surg and 1 day of ICU training upon hire.

Floating to other units may be required based on skill set, including potential additional responsibilities in Obstetrics or Emergency Departments.
