Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school-based educational services program is seeking a Substitute CPR Paraprofessional to provide instructional and health-related assistance to students during substitute assignments. The position supports students with academic, behavioral, and personal-care needs while maintaining a safe and structured learning environment.

Responsibilities / Duties :

Provide classroom and one-on-one instructional support under supervision of teaching or special education staff

Utilize CPR and basic first-aid knowledge to assist in emergency or health-related situations

Support students with academic tasks, social development, and appropriate behavior reinforcement

Assist with mobility, transitions, or personal care for students with physical or medical needs

Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and behavior while protecting confidentiality

Adapt to a variety of classrooms, age groups, and instructional settings based on assignment needs

Qualifications / Desired Experience :

Current CPR and First Aid certification required

Previous experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide preferred

Experience supporting students with special needs or in educational environments

Dependable, professional, and adaptable to substitute schedules

Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $48.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
