Postdoctoral Research Associate in Food Science & Technology

JOB SUMMARY

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available immediately for two-three years for a project on food quality issues with pecans at the Agricultural Research Station under the College of Agriculture, Family Sciences and Technology.

MAJOR DUTIES

• Conducting experiments related to the project's objectives.
• Responsible for analyzing research data and interpreting results.
• Responsible for preparing technical reports and submitting manuscripts in a timely manner for both project documentation and peer-reviewed publication.
• Train and mentor graduate students involved in the research.
• Assist in writing research proposals to support ongoing and future projects.
